Original Painting 'Bacchus Vessel'

Bacchus is a nature god of vegetation, wine, ecstasy and fertility. A wild god, associated with madness, festivity, and wild frenzy. Bacchus serves as a symbol of liberation from ones everyday identity. To me he’s the perfect representation for the ideas about embodiment which I’m exploring in this series of ‘vessel’ paintings.
